
Media Inside Out is a television talk show that explores the media we love to watch, listen to, read, and play with an analytical and critical approach. Each episode digs deep into a specific media theme or media property. The series is produced and hosted by Sherri Hope Culver, director of the Center for Media and Information Literacy at Temple University.
Teens Making Media
On this episode of Media Inside Out, host Sherri Hope Culver addresses the subject of Teens Making Media. On her panel is the “Power Team” of Youth Media for WHYY. Lisa Wilk, Director of School Partnerships, and Brianna Spause, the Youth Employment Supervisor, bring to light the many after-school opportunities WHYY offers students. Then, Temple University student Damien Angelo Williams talks about his experiences going through these programs as a teenager and how they helped him in his current career path.
