In Performance on TUTV celebrates the diverse and vibrant music scene of Philadelphia. This program, produced by TUTV Practicum students,  showcases talented and passionate local artists with live studio performances and in-depth interviews. From soulful singers and indie rock bands to hip-hop artists and jazz ensembles, the show features a wide range of musical genres, offering a unique experience to music lovers.

(Recorded in March 2025 ) On this special hour-long episode of In Performance, host Jesse Kosierowski chats with not one but two musical guests. First, Jesse speaks with Pillbook about how he started his musical journey, his musical inspirations, his producing process, and more! He performs his original songs “The Fire” and “StayLaz.”

The second guest is SInger-songwriter Morgan Leese. She talks to Jesse about how she got into songwriting, the meaning behind some of her songs, and more! She performs her original songs “Burning” and “Moon.”

Pillbook is a Philly-based student in the Audio and Live Entertainment program at Temple University. He began playing at age 15 in a garage rock band and has since released several EPs, albums, and singles, and has even embarked on a national tour.

Morgan Leese is a singer-songwriter who has been writing since 2020 and playing guitar since 2024. She has been on a journey to break any mental barriers and push past her comfort zone of keeping to herself.
