Carl is a stubborn businessman who hates everything about Christmas. He abandoned his son a long time ago and refuses to let his wife throw a party or celebrate the festivities. He also makes the holiday season unpleasant for his employees. However, his attitude changes when he discovers that his wife has been taking underprivileged children to a department store to see Santa Claus every Christmas Eve. This realization revives his Christmas spirit. (1953)
