TUTV to Air First-Ever Live Postgame Basketball Show: Courts in Session
Temple University’s award-winning OwlSports Productions is proud to present a special edition of Courts in Session — a live postgame show airing Sunday, February 15 on TUTV (Comcast 50, Verizon 45, and online at templetv.net).
The show will go live immediately following the Temple men’s basketball game against North Texas — which tips off at 2 p.m. on ESPN+. As soon as the final buzzer sounds, Courts in Session will take over with live reaction, analysis, and exclusive coverage from inside the Liacouras Center and beyond.
The program, airing from approximately 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., marks a major step forward for OwlSports Update Productions — TUTV’s first-ever live postgame show.
Broadcast live from TUTV’s TV3 studio, the show will feature a team of student anchors and analysts breaking down the Owls’ performance, in-game highlights, and key storylines. The team will also bring viewers live reports courtside and real-time coverage of Coach Fisher’s postgame press conference from the media room.
“This is an exciting next step for TUTV and for Temple student media,” said General Manager Joe Schreiber. “It’s a chance for our students to experience the energy and pressure of live postgame coverage, the same kind of professional environment they’ll find in the industry.”
To make the production possible, the team will have full access to Temple’s broadcast facilities and technical support, including on-site studio engineers to help manage the live feeds and troubleshoot on the fly.
So tune in Sunday, February 15 — right after the men’s basketball matchup — for Temple’s own version of postgame sports television! It’s Temple basketball. Live. Local. Student-powered.
