Student documentary looks at benefits of zoos

Voice of the WildVoice for the Wild, a short documentary made by Temple students, explores the positive side of zoos as public opinion has become increasingly negative against them. Using Elmwood Park Zoo as a backdrop for this large-scale issue, the documentary provides an inside look at the people who work there and what continues to drive them. Directed by Brianna Dent, a junior Media Studies and Production major at Temple University, “Voice for the Wild” is her first documentary and won the Animal Welfare Award at the New Hope Film Festival.  Tune in to see it premiere on TUTV this Wednesday, February 26 at 1 and 9 p.m.
