Want to learn more about how to launch a career in children’s media and entertainment? Hosted by the Center for Media and Information Literacy, the second annual Children’s Media Career Symposium was held on April 11, 2019 at the Klein College of Communication, featuring two moderated panel discussions about trends in the children’s media industry and career opportunities in the field.

Panelists included David Kleeman, Senior Vice President of Global Trends at DUBIT International; Meredith Halpern-Ranzer, Chief Executive Tinkerer at Tinkercast; Linda Simensky, Vice President of Children’s Programming at PBS; Erica Branch-Ridley, Executive Producer at HITN Learning; LaToye Adams, President of WonderWhy Consulting; Makeda Mays Green, Vice President of Digital Consumer Insights at Nickelodeon; Shabnam Rezaei, Cofounder and President of Big Bad Boo Studios; Emily Sutter, National President of the Children’s Media Association; and Joey Egger, managing director at Two Moos.
