Annenberg Hall’s TV Studio 3 underwent a monster upgrade over the summer of 2018, and we were there to capture the transformation.
The new studio includes an all new 16×5.5′ video wall to replace the static skyline background, which will serve as a dynamic new storytelling tool for student producers, as well as a multipurpose area for interviews, breaking news reports, and more. The set is lit from the inside with adjustable LED lights.
The brand new premiered on air for the first time on the season premiere of OwlSports Update‘s football-only half-hour new program, Inside the Nest, Tuesday, September 4 at noon and 8 p.m.
This studio installation was made possible by the Kal and Lucille Rudman Foundation, Klein College’s Dean David Boardman, and the Temple University Board of Trustees. It was designed and built by Horizon AVL. TUTVÂ Assistant General Manager George Cummings in partnership with Television Studio Manager Kyle Nesta and his team led the installation and execution of the new set.
