Philly-born Jay Sellers comes to the set of Lisa Bien’s Bouncing Back to describe overcoming adversity in his life to become a helping hand in the North Philly community as a school and outreach counselor and therapist.
When he was 15 years old, his father died suddenly and tragically from a heart attack. In a tailspin, teenage Jay went down a self-destructive path and fled home young. However, he bounced back from this dark time to go to college and begin helping others that are facing adversity as Associate Executive Director at NHS.
Dr. Kate Lewis Nolt, an expert in behavior modification, also shares her own stories of bouncing back from adversity as well as giving expert commentary on how to tap into inner strength.
Tune in to TUTV Monday, May 7 at 12:30 and 8:30 p.m. to see the premiere of this new episode of Bouncing Back with Lisa Bien.
