TUTV student producers Cassandra Semyon and Melissa Payavis attended the ceremony in San Antonio and represented the station.
Temple Update and OwlSports Update brought home six awards from the College Broadcasters annual production awards over the weekend.
Temple Update won the top prize at the ceremony for “Best Website” (templeupdate.com). They also won first for Best Station Promo, finished third in Best Video Newscast and fourth in Best Social Media Presence. OwlSports Update won second place for Best Social Media Presence and third place for Best Vodcast.
