Though Syreeta never envisioned becoming a mother at age 16, she didn’t let that stop her on her path to success.
Also on set is Shileste Overton Morris, who works as an author, speaker and teacher and currently serves as the Senior Program Development and Organizational Manager at the Center for Schools and Communities. Shileste became a mother while working to finish her degree at Temple. She managed to attain a Bachelor’s right on schedule, and now helps young Philadelphians reach their educational and health goals.
