Local Philadelphia comic Will Simon joins host Steve Lipman on a new episode of Comedy 101, a program that invites professional comedians to share their experiences as entertainers and provide insight into the industry.
Will talks about how he used to think being funny was something innate–something that could not be learned. But when he moved to New York to do comedy professionally, he learned quickly that it takes hard work and dedication to become a good stand up comedian. Steve and Will converse on a wide variety of topics, including the advantages and disadvantages of using profanity in an act, and how developing a following in your home is important to achieving success in comedy meccas like New York City.
Tune in Friday, October 3 at 12:30 p.m. to hear all this and more. The program will repeat at 8:30 p.m.
