Europe in Concert comes to TUTV

Europe-in-Concertsm

Every Friday at 2 p.m., TUTV airs an installment of Deutsche Welle’s Europe in Concert, which features Europe’s best rock and pop musicians, live onstage.  We’ll be airing performances by artists of various background and genres ranging from controversial Irish singer Sinead O’Connor to German trumpet virtuoso, composer and singer Till Brönner.

The program presents “old masters” such as Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits and Robert Plant (formerly of Pink Floyd), in addition to younger musicians, including alternative rock band Snow Patrol and Scottish singer Amy MacDonald, who rose to prominence at age 20.

Deutsche Welle is Germany’s international broadcaster and producers programs on a plethora of topics.
