New drama film by Temple students premieres Friday

TUTV presents a new drama film written, directed and shot by Temple students. The Valley portrays a young man whose aimlessness causes him many hardships over a period of two years.  It premieres this Friday, July 12 at 12 p.m., re-airing at 8 p.m. Watch it on Comcast channel 50, Verizon channel 45 or online.

Jake, played by Sean Negron, has recently graduated from high school and finds himself lost and unmotivated, in contrast to his older brother who achieves many successes. The Valley was produced by Lucas Proctor, Daniela Acosta, Nick Nelson, and Steffany Ramos.

Created as a part of Professor Kristine Trever Weatherston’s Media Studies and Production class, The Valley won 3rd place in the Best Script category at the 2013 Temple University MSP Awards.
