Donnie Coleman is joined by Justin Miller, the Senior Director at the Resnick Academic Support Center. They discuss what the Resnick Center provides, how they work with student athletes, how the center is involved in the recruitment process, and how the Resnick Center is now beginning to help athletes more with “life after sports.” Dr. Jeremy Jordan, the Faculty Athletic Representative, talks to Donnie about how he monitors academic integrity, compliance with NCAA and institution rules, and student athlete well-being by working with groups like the Resnick Center. Later, Kelly Hart and Karen Demmler from the Career Center stop by to explain how they work with employers to hire student athletes and how they help students use their skills as athletes to market themselves.
