Philly Famous Podcast: Aaron McKie

Greg Holdsman, a Philadelphia native and senior at Temple, has been highlighting local visionaries and vanguards with his Philly Famous Podcast for over a year, recording more than 70 episodes. Now, Greg is bringing his audio program to TV by taping his podcast episodes, which will air on TUTV. The premiere episode features Temple Basketball Assistant Coach Aaron McKie, who played basketball for Temple and the Sixers and will succeed Fran Dunphy as Temple’s Head Coach in 2019. McKie reflects on his career and talks about Coach Ellerbee at Simon Gratz High School, Coach Chaney at Temple, and Coach Larry Brown at the Sixers and discusses his relationship with each and how they have impacted his coaching style as he prepares to take the reigns from Coach Dunphy.
