Personal stories are powerful. No one knows this better than Lu Ann Cahn, author, 8-time Emmy award-winning investigative reporter with NBC10 News in Philadelphia, public speaker, and Director of Career Services for Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication. Lu Ann always loved telling other people’s stories and never thought she would one day tell her own. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35, she went public with her story, so that other women were informed about breast cancer. Lu Ann sits down with Philly Famous Podcast host Greg Holdsman to reflect on her life and career and discusses the lessons she learned along the way.
Greg Holdsman, a Philadelphia native and senior at Temple, has been highlighting local visionaries and vanguards with his Philly Famous Podcast for over a year, recording more than 70 episodes. Now, Greg is bringing his audio program to TV by taping his podcast episodes, which will air on TUTV.
