SMC Lecture: C.W. Anderson
C.W. Anderson of the College of Staten Island-CUNY presents “Objects, Evidence and Cultures of News in Philadelphia Journalism (and Everywhere Else, Too).”
Anderson’s research provides a synoptic overview of five years of research on the Philadelphia news ecosystem (from 2007-2012), with the goal of demonstrating how certain patterns of knowledge building and evidence collection common to digital-era news production in Philadelphia can speak to larger problems facing journalism today.
