Beyond the Page: Recognizing Outstanding Faculty

For more than seven years running, the Libraries and the Faculty Senate Committee on the Status of Faculty of Color have co-hosted an engaging series of panels on timely topics, featuring faculty from across the university.

Dr. Elizabeth L. Sweet, Assistant Professor in the Geography and Urban Studies Department is honored for her leadership on the Committee on the Status of Faculty of Color. Betsy gives an interactive talk, “Territorio Cuerpo-Tierra: My Pathway to a Cosmology of Bodies as Land in the City of Emotions.”
