Ability Speaks

Ability Speaks is a documentary made by Temple students that spreads awareness of young adults with disabilities in the Philadelphia area by peering into their day to day lives and depicting how they cope with entering society after they are finished with their schooling.

A lot of times society tends to focus on the needs of disabled children but what happens when those children grow up and are out of the system? The documentary also promotes programs that are available to help adults struggling with disabilities, including the Kaleidoscope Family Solutions and the T.O.D.A.Y. Program.

The film was made by Temple students Kristalyn Anderson, Sean Sullivan, and Anastazja Duda for a media production class taught by Kristin Trever Weatherston.
