This episode of The Vibe, hosted by Nydja Hood, Giovanni Vasquez, and Tarieque Hairston, begins with a performance by Dare2Dance. Hadiyah Weaver takes a closer look at Temple’s poetry collective, Babel. Giovanni Vasquez hosts a rap battle between Imperial and Jack the Ripper. Kenny Cooper speaks with Philadelphia rapper Dice Raw about what he is currently working on. Natalia Garay, a member of Babel, performs. Nydja Hood gets insight on some hot topics in hip-hop from two executive board members of Temple’s student hip-hop organization, Eco Cohen and Musu Taylor. Temple senior and singer, Nahla Ward, performs.
