Temple Update is an award-winning news program entirely written, produced, directed, and anchored by students at Temple University. This weekly half-hour show covers a wide range of stories and events, both on and off campus, with a particular focus on the greater Temple community. The program strives to keep its audience informed on the latest developments within the university, surrounding neighborhoods, and beyond.

Kelly Antonacci begins the show with coverage of the March for Our Lives protest held in Washington D.C., and Izamarie Camacho has more on the protest held in Philadelphia. In the newsroom, Carli Showmaker takes a look at each of the TSG campaigns as they vie for students’ votes. Cassandra Semyon was at the Wellness Resource Center’s annual Walk TU, which supports sexual assault survivors. Brianna Dent brings us the story of Bob Lamb, a Temple graduate student who has created a program to help students in recovery from addiction. Sarah Tunnell reports on Temple Lacrosse’s historic start to the season. LA correspondent Vince Coll speaks with Update alum Shaniece Cole, who is now working as an associate producer on the Steve Harvey Show.
