Women’s Soccer

Host Christian Reilly has the inside scoop this week on the Temple women’s soccer team with his guests, Coach Seamus O’Connor and two current members of the team. O’Connor discusses the benefits of being an Assistant Coach before taking on the responsibilities of being Head Coach. He thinks back to when he first started in the position and the changes he made in order to put together the right team and to reinvigorate the program. A native of Ireland, he explains the differences in each culture surrounding sports.

Senior team members Paula Jurewicz and Taylor Trusky join Christian for the final portion of the program to discuss finishing up their college soccer careers and what it’s been like to play on a Division One level on top of being a full-time student. Both discuss setting an example for younger players and the importance of pushing the team to continue to grow and improve.
