Host Christian Reilly welcomes Men’s and Women’s Tennis head coach, Steve Mauro, to the program to talk about his experience coaching both teams over the years. Mauro discusses revitalizing the program when he arrived and how he was able to turn around the team in an outstanding first season. He also describes preparing for stronger competition and how he recruits for the team.
Santiago Canete and Hicham Belkssir join Christian to talk about balancing studying and tennis. From Spain and Morocco respectively, the two explain what it’s like to study in a foreign country. Despite rigorous practice schedules and no shortage of school work, the athletes are taking it all in stride.
