Temple Athletics is an informative, student-produced program that offers an in-depth exploration of the diverse array of sports played by Temple students. Through engaging interviews with coaches and student-athletes, viewers are treated to an insider's perspective on the challenges and triumphs of competing at a high level in collegiate sports.
Cheerleading – Dance – Band
Making their Temple Athletics debut, hosts Oscar Edwarde and Marcus Perez welcome Temple Cheerleaders Autumn Hudson and Gia Ervin. The freshman and sophomore speak on their experiences of being on the White Team (a basketball cheer squad) and how they approach new routines.
The second group welcomed to the program are from the Diamond Gem dance team. Representing the team are dancers Amber Rock and Fallon O’Neil, who discuss the year long season, which encompasses dance routines for both sporting events and personal division competitions. They also talk about making the finals in their division (the highest division nationally).
To close out the program, Temple Band member, Hannah Luckenbaugh, tells the two hosts about the different rotating sections of Temple Band, who are called to play at several kinds of celebratory events, and how training regiments often change with the seasons.
