Womens Tennis
Stephanie Hirsch and Tommy Sladek return with more Temple Tennis. Invited to the desk is head coach Steve Mauro. The head coach talks about his history with Temple, explains why he recruits several foreign players, and the flexibility he offers to his athletes when it comes to academics. Focusing on the women’s tennis players, the two hosts invite Mariana Bedon and Jasmine Merali. Bedon details the perspective of what it’s like to play tennis in a different country and Merali speaks about playing tennis close to home. The two teammates layout the different kinds of workloads between Spring season and Fall season. And to cap off the program, the players speak about their favorite plays on the court.
