Temple University Ambler Remembers 9-11

On Friday, September 9, Temple University Ambler remembered the thousands of lives lost on September 11, 2001. A special ceremony, held by the Office of Student Life, in association with the Temple University Criminal Justice Training Programs, included cadets from the Temple University Police Academy lowering the flag in front of Bright Hall to half mast to honor the men and women lost on 9/11, many of whom were fellow police officers. The program then returned to Bright Hall Lounge for a remembrance candle lighting and moment of silence to recognize the men and women who lost their lives on 9-11. Participants were given the opportunity to share their memories and reflections about 9-11, its aftermath, and how the world has changed in the past decade.
