Chicken Parmesan


Joe Paris, the Assistant Dean of the College of Education at Temple University, joins the set of Baker Dave Presents… to make a classic Italian American dish, but with a twist.

Paris, hailing from Northern Jersey, grew up in an area with a vibrant Italian culture, leaving him with a love of Italian food. Bringing in his wife’s recipe for chicken parmesan to the set, he’s ready to attempt a dish that he has only eaten and never cooked. Fortunately, Baker Dave assists Paris and gives him some tips, including how to make an easy, delicious tomato sauce from scratch. Paris incorporates his personal touch by subbing in sharp provolone for mozzarella cheese.
