Kombucha and Graham Crackers
Baker Dave invites local foodie Nina Abbonizio to his show, who makes her own kombucha tea, a fermented sweet black or green tea that is imbibed to improve stomach health. Nina explains how you can easily and cheaply make a batch of kombucha at home and making all the components from scratch, as well as flavored and fizzy kombuchas, for a healthy daily tonic. Baker Dave has Nina prepare his own recipe for homemade graham crackers as a change of pace. Nina, who likes to bake and decorate cakes, takes to the task immediately.
