TUTV is excited to present From the Temple Student Film Vault, which consists of student films created for Temple classes in the 70s and 80s.
Highlights include A Filmmaker’s Film, a short film by Bob Saget from 1978 wherein he portrays a pretentious auteur filmmaker and features an appearance by Temple’s own Sister Sledge–in a musical number with Saget, no less. Additionally, we’ll air a documentary that takes you to South Street in the 1970s, which includes early footage of the Magic Gardens and an interview with creator Isaiah Zagar.
TUTV will air two hour-long episodes of From the Temple Student Film Vault. The first installment will air December 26 at 1 and 9 p.m. and the second on January 2 at 1 and 9 p.m.
