What to do in Philadelphia during the DNC

Whether you’re in town for the convention or living in Philadelphia already, there are many events going on this week and next to take advantage of. We’ve listed some highlights below.

PoliticalFest

A multi-location exhibition celebrating American history, government and the road to the White House, PoliticalFest is a non-partisan display that combines multimedia and interactive displays, historical objects and special events to entertain and engage both residents and convention attendees.

When: July 22-27
Where: The National Constitution Center, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, National Liberty Museum, Philadelphia History Museum, The Philadelphia Library Company, Historical Society of Pennsylvania and the Heritage Center at the Union League.
Cost: $15, adults; $5, kids 18 and younger

Philly Feast

Philly Feast will feature food trucks and food vendors that represent the best, most diverse eats the city has to offer, including Gigi & Big R, Foolish Waffles, Philadelphia Distilling, Luke’s Lobster, Vegan Commissary, Taco Mondo, Nomad Pizza and Underground Donuts, among others. In addition, there will be live music on the main stage.

When: Monday, July 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Old City, 3rd and Arch streets
Cost: Free admission; Pay as you go food and drink

July Twilight in the Gardens

A BYOB event at the Magic Gardens; come to camp out and enjoy your favorite drink while Circadian Rhythms, an indie pop band, performs.

When: Friday, July 22, 2016, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 1020 South St
Cost: $18 for adults, $15 for students & seniors
